Forged from high-grade B25 bronze and hand-hammered to shape in Istanbul, this set of Masterwork Verve 16 inch hi-hats are the biggest in the range. The ultra-thin format combined with the special blackened patina of the top-hat results in immediately dark and heavy, yet crisp and versatile sound, making this hi-hat perfect for jazz and funk.
The Masterwork Verve 16-inch Hi-Hats
The larger size of these hats also gives the projection and volume a boost, keeping things full yet tempered while the mid-high frequency sizzle is never in danger of getting in the way of other instruments that lie in the higher frequency range. To finish, the stick definition retains body and nuance, striking a sweet balance with the rest of the hat-sound.
